Roosevelt University
Roosevelt University is an institute of higher education primarily located in Chicago with a satellite campus in nearby suburban Schaumburg. Founded in 1945 as Thomas Jefferson College, it was renamed Roosevelt College after Franklin D. Roosevelt and his wife. The college grew into a university, which now includes the Evelyn T. Stone University College, a continuing education school; Chicago College of Performing Arts, a music and theatre program; Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration, a business school; and a college of education.
