Ronald MacDonald (born July 5, 1989) is working as one of the most famous young Gaelic speakers in Scotland. His first experience of Gaelic television work, was a series of about 50 short animations, called Caillou. Subsequently, he played a lead part in DraganSgeul, a longer, 30-minute animation that lasted 40 episodes. These are still being broadcast by BBC Scotland, as part of CBeebies.

Over the last couple of years, the focus of his work has changed to composition for British television, as opposed to voice overs. This has included composition and recording of theme music and incidentals, for a number of television programmes.
