Roger Howarth

Roger Howarth (born September 13 1968) is an American actor.

Howarth is perhaps best remembered for his Daytime Emmy Award winning portrayal of Todd Manning on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live, a role he played on-and-off from 1993 to 1995, 1996 to 1998 and from 2000 to 2003. Howarth was strongly praised for his work on OLTL, and won a Daytime Emmy Award for his work, but subsequent attempts to rehabilitate the rapist character of Todd unnerved Howarth. Sometimes at public appearances, female fans would shout "rape me, Todd!", which made him extremely uncomfortable. When attempts were made to pair Todd and the woman he raped, Marty Saybrooke, as a romantic couple, Howarth quit the show. He returned to the show twice, but Todd was portrayed more as a villain than a hero.

Currently, he portrays Paul Ryan on CBS's, As the World Turns, a role he has played since 2003. He also had a brief role on the series Dawson's Creek.
