Rocky Mountain College
Rocky Mountain College, Montana's oldest and first institution of higher learning, founded in 1878, is a private comprehensive college offering over 40 liberal arts and professionally oriented majors. Located in Billings, Montana it is affiliated with The United Methodist Church, The Presbyterian Church (USA), and the United Church of Christ.

Rocky Mountain College is often simply called "Rocky" or "RMC" for short.

According to an article in the Billings Gazette, Rocky laid off seven people in June of 2005 because of budget problems. It is also reported that the chaplain was one of the positions cut and that a number of alumni were not very happy about the seeming disconnection between Rocky and its church affiliations.
