Rockhurst University is a private, co-educational Jesuit university located in Kansas City, Missouri.
Service education
Rockhurst University adheres to a traditional Ignatian philosophy of educating students beyond academics but also towards leadership and service. The university prides in the fact that 85% of each undergraduate class participates in community service. Graduates from Rockhurst University receive two transcripts: one for academics and another for community service.
