Rocket
A rocket is a vehicle, missile or aircraft which obtains thrust by the reaction to the ejection of fast moving exhaust gas from within a rocket engine. Often the term rocket is also used to mean a rocket engine.
Accidents
Because of the power and sensitivity of fuels used by rockets, accidents can and have happened. The number of people injured or killed are usually small because of the great care given to the volatility of the materials, but this record is not perfect.
