Robert Kelly is a young stand-up comedian. Kelly resides in Manhattan and frequently performs at the Comedy Cellar. Robert Kelly often appears on Opie and Anthony on XM Satellite Radio. He has also appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.

A few years ago, Bob Kelly was voted the Breakthrough Stand-Up of the Year on the Cringe Humor website.

Bob Kelly was a stand-up performing regularly at the Comedy Cellar during the filming of Jerry Seinfeld's documentary Comedian, which gave great insight into the art of stand-up. Bob told a story on Opie and Anthony in 2005 that one night he spoke to Jerry Seinfeld at the Comedy Cellar during the time when the documentary was being filmed. It was a brief conversation, but Bob Kelly took it as an opportunity to try to make a connection. The next time they saw each other, Kelly tried to make conversation, but Seinfeld then walked away, up the stairs of the Comedy Cellar. Seinfeld then turned around and said something to the effect of "I'll be upstairs (in the Olive Tree Restaurant) eating, in the back corner. Meet me up there later." Kelly was ecstatic, confidently saying that he'll join the legendary stand-up once he was finished with his own set. Seinfeld then glared at Kelly and said "Not you." Robert Kelly was ashamed when he realized that Seinfeld was speaking to the woman next to him. Recently, he toured with comedian Dane Cook on the cross-country tour entitled Tourgasm. A big break for Kelly, he broke his leg on the tour. Interpreted as a career move by some, Bob Kelly went on to discuss this fractured limb at every possible opportunity. Kelly managed to finish the tour, of which there will be a DVD released soon.
