Robbin' the Hood is often thought of as the hard-core fans favourite album. This is due to the fact it was very unaccesable for non-fans due to its low production value (the album sleeve boasts of the songs four track recordings). Although there is no reason behind the low budget recording techniques, many feel that it was Brad Nowell's answer to the people who were beginning to feel he was in it for the money. Furthermore, the album is full of random fillers, instrumentals and 'Raleigh soliloquies'. This was done as it was originally only going to have 6 tracks.
