Rob Kerin
Robert Gerard Kerin was the Liberal Premier of South Australia between 22 October 2001 and March 5, 2002. He is currently Leader of the Opposition following the defeat of his Government.

His approach to leadership and parliamentary tactics is more congenial than usual; this has led to both praise from those who see him as a 'nice guy' and criticism from those who believe his style is ineffective compared to the media savvy and aggressive parliamentary tactics of the current State Government and especially the Premier Mike Rann.

Rob Kerin holds the seat of Frome, representing the mid-north rural areas of South Australia. He has held this seat since first being elected to State Parliament in 1993. In addition to being Premier and Opposition Leader, he has been Minister for Primary Industries, Natural Resources and Regional Development, Minerals and Energy, State Development, Tourism and Multicultural Affairs.
