Rio Rita is an Abbott and Costello movie released in 1942 by MGM. Abbott & Costello star as Doc & Wishey who run into Nazis who want to smuggle bombs into the USA from a Mexican border hotel.

Abbott & Costello were under contract to Universal which is why many of their movies were produced by Universal. In order to make more money from their cash cow, Universal loaned Abbott & Costello to MGM for a one movie a year deal which meant that MGM could use Abbott & Costello, although only for one movie a year.
