Ringling Museum of Art
The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is an art museum located in Sarasota, Florida. It was established in 1927 as the legacy of John Ringling and his wife, Mable for the people of Florida. The official state art museum of Florida, the Museum of Art offers 21 galleries of European paintings as well as Cypriot antiquities, Asian, American, and contemporary art. The Museum's art collection currently consists of over 10,000 objects that include a wide variety of paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, photographs and decorative arts from ancient through contemporary periods and from throughout the world. It?s most celebrated art is 16th through 18th century European paintings. It has a world renowned collection of Peter Paul Rubens paintings and cartoons.

Aside from the Art Museum, the Ringling estate also features the Cą d'Zan ("House of John"), a waterfront mansion that was restored in 2002, a circus museum, and Mable Ringling?s Rose Garden, completed in 1913, along with the beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking Sarasota Bay.
