He began his skating career skating for Blockhead Skateboards. He quit Blockhead and skated for Plan B Skateboards until he formed a new company named "Girl Skateboards" with Mike Carroll in 1993.

He has been in the Girl skate videos "Yeah Right" (2003), "Mouse" (1996), "Goldfish" (1993), and Plan B videos "Virtual Reality" (1993) and "Questionable" (1992).

He owns the Crailtap distribution company which owns such companies as Lakai footwear, Royal trucks, FourStar clothing, Girl skateboards and Chocolate skateboards.
