Richard Stilgoe
Richard Stilgoe (b. 28 March 1943) is a British songwriter, lyricist and musician. He was educated at Clare College, Cambridge, and was a member of the Cambridge University Footlights.

Stilgoe made his name on the BBC television teatime programme Nationwide. He helped Charles Hart write the lyrics to The Phantom of the Opera musical and also wrote the lyrics for Starlight Express.
