Rendering

Rendering has several different usages:

• Rendering (computer graphics) is the process of producing the pixels of an image from a higher-level description of its components.
• Artistic rendering is the process by which a work of art is created.
• Kitchen rendering and industrial rendering both have to do with separating fats from other organic materials.
• Rendering prisoners has to do with outsourcing torture to other countries, a policy begun in the U.S. in the 1990s, and greatly expanded after September 11.
