Reman

In the fictional Star Trek universe, Remans are natives of the planet Remus. They have been subjugated ever since the Romulans staked claim and set up their new homeworld in the system. Since Remus is tidally locked with the system's primary star, the species lives in constant darkness, and so the Remans are extremely sensitive to light.

It is also known that Remans were used by Romulans as shock troops during the Dominion War. Remans have also been seen as security escorts for Romulan VIPs on .
