Red River County is a county located in the state of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 14,314. Its county seat is Clarksville6, and the county is named for the Red River.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,739 km² (1,058 mi²). 2,720 km² (1,050 mi²) of it is land and 19 km² (7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.70% water.
