Rebounds are credited to the first player that gains clear possession of the ball, or to a player that successful deflects the ball into the net for a score. If the player has achieved the rebound after an opposing player's shot, this is counted as a defensive rebound. If the player achieves the rebound after a teammate's shot, it is an offensive rebound.
