Real World/Road Rules Challenge

The Real World/Road Rules Challenge is a spin-off of MTV's two flagship reality series, The Real World and Road Rules. The Challenge pits castmembers from past seasons of the two shows against each other, and has also divided cast members by sexes or into "good" and "evil" teams. The castmembers are divided into two teams and must complete challenges in order to win prizes and advance in the game. Recent seasons have taken a cue from Survivor and adopted the common reality TV system of voting people out of the game.

Beginning with the Battle of the Sexes, MTV added a fantasy challenge game to their website. Players "draft" cast members, a la fantasy baseball and cast members are given points for performing certain tasks, such as cursing or "hooking up."
