Real McCoy (dance group)
Real McCoy, formerly known as M.C. Sar & the Real McCoy, was an eurodance group whose career was at its peak in the early 1990s. Their 1993 single "Another Night" achieved great success around the world. This was followed by "Run Away".

They did not conquer America until late 1994, however, when "Another Night" was released there, followed by "Run Away" in early 1995. Both songs became #3 pop hits. The album's other singles, "Automatic Lover" and "Come and Get Your Love" were smaller hits.

Real McCoy returned in 1997 with their sophomore album, and the single "One More Time," which was a more moderate hit than their previous singles.

In 1999 the founder of the original group, Olaf "O-Jay" Jeglitza, left the group for good. He is now working as a succesful producer in europe. In 2005 it became public that the "real" singer of the "Another NIght" Album, was Karin Kasar. Neither Patricia Petersen nor Vanessa Mason had sung on this album.

After a failed try to relaunch the group in 1999 with new members (Ginger, Jason, Gebi), rumour has it that there is another relaunch in the pipeline, again with new members. Although it now seems unlikely since that rumour started six years ago.
