Ray Suarez is a senior correspondent for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, an evening news program on the PBS television network. He came to the program from National Public Radio, where he had hosted Talk of the Nation since 1993. Suarez joined The NewsHour in 1999. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and now lives in Washington, District of Columbia with his wife and three children.
