  • A rave party is a kind of party; the type of music played at such parties is referred to as rave music. A person who attends such parties is called a raver.
  • Raving refers to communication, usually speech, that is wild, disjointed, or unintelligible. The term is usually associated with intense emotion or, in extreme cases, with mental illness.
  • A highly positive opinion may be called a rave, such as in the case of "rave reviews".
  • Rave Master is the name of a manga, originally titled Groove Adventure Rave in Japan. Its anime version has retained the original name is now aired on Cartoon Network.
