Rainis
Rainis (sometimes referred to as J?nis Rainis) was the pseudonym of J?nis Pliek??ns (b. September 11, 1865 - d. September 12, 1929), a poet, playwright, translator, and politician who is considered to be the greatest Latvian writer. He was married to Aspazija (pseudonym of Elza Pliek??ne, born Rozenberga), another Latvian poet and playwright.
