Raffles Girls' School (Secondary)
Uniform
The uniform of RGS consists of a knee-length dark navy blue pleated pinafore over a white collared blouse. Students customarily fold their sleeves, following a time-honoured school tradition.

P.I.Ts (Prefects-in-Training) and S.Ls (Student Leaders) wear a tie underneath the pinafore.

Prefects wear a white blouse with a skirt of the same hue as the pinafore. They also wear the school tie at all times when in uniform.

On Tuesdays, Saturdays and during certain school events, students don the culottes, a pleated knee-length skirt. A white RGS PE polo tee-shirt usually accompanies the culottes, or a respective House T-shirt, which consists of Richardson (blue), Tarbet (red), Hadley (purple) , Buckle (green) and Waddle (yellow). The houses are named after 5 past principals of RGS. Richardson is commonly known to win the Swimming Carnival held each year, while Hadley is famous for its reign during Sports Festivals.

The culottes can also be accompanied by a CCA t-shirt, or a class t-shirt, which both are designed by students themselves, but have to be approved by the school.
