Raffles Girls' Primary School

Raffles Girls' Primary School (RGPS for short) is a government girls' primary school in Singapore.It is located in Bukit Timah in western Singapore, its address being 21 Hillcrest Road, Singapore (289072). It offers the Gifted Education Program (GEP) to students at Primary Four. Currently, it has three GEP classes at each level (P4, P5 & P6 P,Q&R), on top of 10 mainstream classes from A-J. Its principal is Miss Tan Siok Cheng, and the vice-principal is Mdm Pang Siu San, who took up this position only in 2005, after former vice-principal Ms Veronica Tay left to head East View Primary school.

There are two sessions, morning and afternoon session, with the morning from 7:20a.m. to 12:50pm and the afternoon from 12.50pm to 6:20pm. Every Wednesday, there is contact time and the morning session pupils are released half and hour earlier and the afternoon session starts half and hour later. In 2006 , the partial single session will be implemented with the Primary 1 - 2 in the afternoon session and the Primary 3 to Primary 6 in the morning session.
