Raelettes


 
 

The Raelettes were a girl group in the 1960s and 1970s, best known for providing backing vocals for Ray Charles. Its membership originally consisted of Ethel (Darlene) McCrea, Margie Hendricks, Patricia Lyles, and Gwendoly Berry. Later members included Mabel John and Susaye Greene.

Although they were never greatly known for their singles they had a number of pop and R and B hits.
