Radio Aire 96.3 is the main commercial station broadcasting in Leeds. It broadcasts chart-topping hits. It used to be situated on Kirkstall Road, next to Yorkshire Television. It is now on Burley Road. It was bought by Emap in 1995.

The transmitter is based in Morley, close to the A653 and junction 28 of the M62. This also broadcasts Magic 828 on Radio Aire's pre-July 1990 MW frequency. The 96.3 FM signal is only audible around Leeds, or close to the M62.
