Racing de Ferrol

Racing Club de Ferrol (founded in 1919) is a Spanish football team from the city of El Ferrol near the port of A Coruña in north-western Spain.

The colours of the club have always been green shirts with white shorts, though during the early years of existence they used to have green and white shirts with vertical bands. During the early 1990s due to some re-planning of the metropolitan area of Ferrol, the home stadium was re-located in to a new and more spacious place near the beautiful valley of Serantes with the new name of La Malata Stadium; it seats 12,042 spectators and offers the local Racing supporters plenty of room to celebrate each match "live".

Racing Club de Ferrol has played most of its live in the Spanish Second Division, although they have descended as low as third.
