Racer X
Racer X is a U.S. heavy metal band formed in the mid to late 1980s. The name is both a reference to a character in Speed Racer, and the Speed metal style of their music. The group was founded by guitarist Paul Gilbert, whose neo-classical technique is augmented by speed and is often considered challenging.
