Qui-Gon Jinn
Qui-Gon Jinn (92 BBY - 32 BBY) is a Jedi Master, the mentor of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and was once the padawan of Count Dooku in the fictional Star Wars universe. Liam Neeson plays Qui-Gon in ' and does a voice-over as Qui-Gon in '.
Padawans
Qui-Gon Jinn is known to have had four apprentices since passing the trials to become a Jedi. Qui-Gon's first Padawan's name is unknown, but is successful in completing his training, giving Qui-Gon the title of Jedi Master. His second Padawan is Xanatos, who eventually falls to the dark side, never completing his Jedi training, and is brought to justice by his third Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and himself. Finally, from beyond the grave, his last apprentice is Jedi Master Yoda, to whom he teaches the art of immortality. Jinn would have also apprenticed Anakin Skywalker, had Qui-Gon survived his duel against Darth Maul on Naboo.
