Quensland University of Technology (QUT) is one of Australia's largest universities, and Queensland's largest by enrolment with 40,000 students, including 4500 international students from over 90 countries. Statistics (in 2005) show that Queensland University of Technology has the highest graduate employment rate of any university in Queensland, as well as being the largest provider of bachelor degree graduates into full-time jobs in Australia. The most recent figures from the Graduate Careers Council of Australia show that of those available for full-time employment, 87.4 per cent of QUT degree graduates had found full-time employment within a few months of course completion.
