The Queensland Performing Arts Centre, also known as QPAC, is situated at South Bank Parklands, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, , near the Brisbane Central Business District (CBC).

The Queensland Performing Arts Centre is a very large complex consisting of four theatre, or auditorium, venues for live performances. These theatre venues are:

- The Concert Hall is a large-sized auditorium with a Pipe organ, and it is where concerts, Proms concerts Pipe bands etc. and oratorios are held. Featured artists who have appeared at the Concert Hall include: Hoffnung concerts, [The Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, The Seekers, The Hollies, opera singers Thomas Edmonds and Mary Martin, and comedienne Pam Ayres.
- The Optus Playhouse is now Brisbane's major threatre for plays (in which Geoffrey Rush starred as Figaro in the play "The Marriage of Figaro" - the play on which Mozart's opera was based - for the Optus Playhouse's premiere performance).
- The Lyric Theatre is a large-sized theatre. It is Brisbane's main venue for operas, ballets, musicals and the like. It has received critical acclaim for its design, and hosts many international performances. When the Lyric Theatre opened in 1984, the premiere (opening) production was the Gilbert and Sullivan Savoy Opera "Iolanthe", in which Dennis Olsen sang the role of the "Lord Chancellor".
- The Cremore Theatre is a small-sized theatre venue, especially catering for one-man plays and revues. Dennis Olsen has appeared in one-man shows such as A Song to Sing 0 (which was about George Grossmith of Gilbert and Sullivan D'Oyly Carte fame), and also appeared in a special Gilbert and Sullivan / Noel Coward one-man show, as well as a Noel Coward production with Amanda Muggleton.
