Queens Zoo
The Queens Zoo is a 5 acre (20,000 m²) zoo located in New York City. The Queens Zoo opened up in 1968 as the Flushing Meadows zoo as it is located in Flushing Meadows Park in Queens. The zoo is home mostly to animals native to North America. The Queens Zoo is the only one of the 4 zoos in New York City to exhibit Spectacled Bears.
