Punjab state is divided into 17 administrative districts: Amritsar, Bathinda, Firozpur, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Mansa, Moga, Muktsar, Nawan Shahr, Patiala, Rupnagar, and Sangrur.
