Puerto Williams is the capital of Antártica Chilena Province, one of four provinces of the Magellanes Region. The province is huge, however most is uninhabited and sovereignity is disputed (Chile's claims in Antarctica overlap with similar claims from the United Kingdom and Argentina). Navarino island is internationally recognized as a part of Chile.
