Psynergy

In the video game series Golden Sun, Psynergy (a portmanteau for "Psychic energy") is an ability found in people called Adepts. According to Kraden, Psynergy is somehow related to Alchemy. Adepts commonly specialize in one of the four Elements - Earth, Fire, Wind, or Water. However, thanks to Djinn and equippable items, the main characters of the games can develop Psynergy commonly unavailable to them - even of another Element than they naturally develop.
