Psi-com is the first band of Perry Farrell. They only released one five-song EP and is more along the lines of a goth sounding record than the funk metal sound that Jane's Addiction later became synonymous with. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This is a Native American expression that was used by warriors to psych themselves up when heading into battle. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Xiola, the third track on the album, is interesting in that it is the first time Perry discovers "the voice" that he would later use in Jane's Addiction. He uses a more low pitched voice on the rest of the album and does not really sound like what you would expect from Jane's Addiction.
