Proof (also known as Derty Harry and Oil Can Harry) is a rapper in the D12 crew.

Though Proof first rose to national prominance as a part of the D12 posse, he'd actually been quite successful on his own prior to Eminem's breakthrough in the early 2000s. Most notably, he won The Source's 1999 Unsigned Hype award and came close to winning the 1998 Blaze Battle. In 2001, his profile soared with the release of Devil's Night, D12's debut album for Interscope, and its heavily aired radio hit, "Purple Pills". The following year, Proof collaborated with Dogmatic for the Promatic album and joined Eminem's Anger Management Tour in support of the release. Proof released a solo effort entitled Searching for Jerry Garcia in 2005.

Also in 2005, Proof Punk'd his friend Bizarre of D12 after being pulled over by a LAPD officer for taking US$600 instead of US$60 out of an ATM.
