Priority Records
Priority Records was started in 1985 by Bryan Turner to distribute rap compilation albums. After signing Ice Cube and Ice-T in 1995, he sold 50% of his company to EMI Records for $55 million. In 1997 EMI bought the other half of the label for another $63 million.
