Princeton Theological Seminary
Princeton Theological Seminary is a professional and graduate school operated by the Presbyterian Church USA in Princeton, New Jersey. It was established in 1812, when higher-level professional education was beginning to be separated from the general education taught at many universities in the United States. Princeton Theological Seminary was begun with the support of the directors of nearby Princeton University as a place to prepare people for the ministry. Contrary to popular belief, it is no longer a part of Princeton University.
