Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands (Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria van Oranje-Nassau) (born December 7 2003, at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague), Princess of Orange-Nassau, called Amalia, is the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander, the Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands.

She is second in line to the Dutch throne, and because the Netherlands is under full lineal primogeniture she will not be replaced in the line of succession by any future children of her parents. So, providing her father and grandmother the Queen predecease her or abdicate correspondingly, she will become Queen of the Netherlands.

Princess Catharina-Amalia lives with her parents and her younger sister Princess Alexia of the Netherlands on De Horsten estate in Wassenaar. She was baptised on 12 June 2004 by Reverend Carel ter Linden in de Grote of St Jacobskerk in The Hague. Her godparents are Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, Marc ter Haar, Herman Tjeenk Willink, Samantha van Welderen Baroness Rengers-Deane and Martín Zorreguieta.
