Prince George of Yugoslavia


 

Crown Prince George of Yugoslavia, ?or?e Kara?or?evi? (August 27, 1887October 17, 1972) was the older brother of Alexander I of Yugoslavia, son of Peter I, King of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and Princess Ljubica (Zorka) of Montenegro.

George Crown Prince of Serbia, from 1929 styled HRH Prince George of Yugoslavia, was born at Rijeka. He was the recipient of the Grand Cross Orders of Star of Karageorge, the White Eagle, and Saint Sava. He died in Belgrade.

He renounced his rights as Heir Apparent and his titles and privileges as Crown Prince of Serbia and holder of the Order of Saint Prince Lazarus at Belgrade on March 15, 1909.
