PricewaterhouseCoopers (or PwC) is the world's largest professional services firm. The member firms of PwC earned annual fees of $16.3 billion for the year to 30 June 2004, employed over 122,000 people in 144 countries. It was formed in 1998 from a merger between Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. PwC is one of the Big Four, along with KPMG, Ernst & Young and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
