Possum Lodge

Possum Lodge is a club located in the fictional town of Possum Lake, Ontario, Canada and seen on the comedy television series The Red Green Show. The official motto of Possum Lodge is the pseudo-Latin phrase Quando omni flunkus moritati., which translates to "If all else fails, play dead.". Although the only members are men, pretty much anyone, including women, can join.1 The town of Possum Lake is right down the road from Port Asbestos with the rival Caribou Lodge. The Possum Lodge in Possum Lake is apparently the 11th chapter in a "International Brotherhood" according to their logo. The Men's Prayer (I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess) is also said almost every night with the official motto. There are about fifty members in the Possum Lake chapter, which include Red Green (the Lodge Leader), Harold Green (Red's nephew/assistant account executive for Multicorp, Inc.), Dalton Humphrey (a local storeowner), Winston Rothschild III (CEO of Rothschild Sewage & Septic Sucking Services), Mike Hamar (ex-con). Some members that are always heard of, but nver seen, include Old Man Sedgwick (a senile old man with bad memory), Moose Thompson (apparently very overweight), Stinky Peterson (who smells really bad), Junior Singleton (a kind of wealthy person), and Flinty McClintock.
