Polo (mint)
Polo is a brand of ring-shaped sweet, manufactured in the United Kingdom since 1948. Originally only available in peppermint flavour, variants now include spearmint, lemon and toffee sweets in the standard shape and size, and larger strawberry, apple and blackcurrant boiled sweets. In 2004, Nestlé were making around 38 million Polos each day - meaning that 140 were consumed every second.
