Plexus (Book Two of The Rosy Crucifixion)
Plexus is the second book in Henry Miller's fictionalized account of his early life with his second wife, Mona. The trilogy describes misadventure with Mona and, towards the end of Plexus and the beginning of the third and final book, Nexus, Mona's eccentric friend and lover, Anastasia. It creatively documents his increasingly bohemian life in New York City, ending with his leaving to Paris where he would spend much of his later life and eventually have published his controversial "Tropic of Capricorn".
