Places in the Heart is a 1984 film which tells the story of a Southern widow who tries to keep her farm together with the help of a blind man and an African-American man. It stars Sally Field, Lindsay Crouse, Ed Harris, Amy Madigan, John Malkovich and Danny Glover.
