Pizza Hut is now opening new stores, or remodeling existing ones into Pizza Hut Italian Bistro. The Pizza Hut Italian Bistro is a casual dining restaurant for the whole family. The new "Bistro" menu has 25 additional items that the original menu did not include. These items are in the way of signature appetizers, entree salads, sauteed pasta, toasted sourdough sandwiches and the signature bistro pizza. The "Bistro" menu does still include all the classic Pizza Hut items.

Bistro strives for a casual dinning restaurant atmosphere through soft music, dinner lighting and a highly skilled waitstaff. This new waitstaff goes down on one knee to take orders, offers fresh cheese and black pepper with every meal, and wraps food to go for the guests.
