Pitkin County, Colorado
Pitkin County is a county in the U.S. state of Colorado. As of 2000, the population is 14,872. The county seat is Aspen. It has the fourth highest per-capita income in the U.S. The county is named in honor of former Colorado Governor Frederick Walker Pitkin.
