Pirate Parrot
The Pirate Parrot is the mascot of the Pittsburgh Pirates, debuting in 1979. He is a large green parrot who wears a Pirates jersey and cap.

During the Pittsburgh drug trials of 1985, the original parrot, Kevin Koch, was implicated for buying cocaine and introducing players to drug dealer Curtis Strong, a caterer for the Philadelphia Phillies.
