Philip Leacock
Unlike his brother, the documentary filmmaker Richard Leacock filmmaker Philip Leacock (*8 October 1917 in London - 1990) spent his childhood in the Canary Islands. He started with documentaries. When he turned to fiction films, his experience as a documentary filmmaker still strongly influenced his approach. He was especially well known for his films about children.
